Griesgraber & Associates
Dr. Griesgraber earned his Ph.D. from the University
of Minnesota in 1987.
Prior to relocating to Pasadena, California in 1989 he served as principal of Nativity
School in St. Paul, Minnesota. In addition to his academic credentials, Dr.
Griesgraber has over 20 years of experience as a school administrator, providing him with
a wealth of practical administrative experience. |

Professional Practices for Fund Raising

- We shall be responsible
for conducting activities in accord with accepted standards of accuracy, truth, integrity
and good faith.
- We shall encourage the
institutions we serve: to conduct their affairs in accordance with accepted principles of
sound business management, fiduciary responsibility, and accounting procedures; to use
donations only for the donors intended purposes; and to comply with all applicable
local, state, province, and federal laws.
- We shall manage all
accounts entrusted to us solely for the benefit of the organizations or institutions being
served.
- We recommend
to the institutions we serve only those fund-raising goals which we believe can be
achieved based on their professional experience, and an investigation and rational
analysis of facts.
- We will work for a salary
retainer or fee, not a commission.
If employed by an organization, that organization shall operate in its client/consultant relationship on the basis of a predetermined fee
and not a percentage of the funds raised.
- We will make full
disclosure to employers, clients, or if requested, potential donors, all relationships
which might pose, or appear to pose, a possible conflict of interest. As fund raising

confidential and leave intact all lists, records, and documents acquired in the service of
current or former employers and clients.
- Our public demeanor
shall be such as to bring credit to the fund-raising profession and the client
organization being served.

importance of good stewardship in wisely using resources of time, talent and treasure for
the benefit of their clients organization.
